Eight years ago, while working at a publisher, I followed a course in web design. That was fun and interesting, but I soon found out that I have more affinity with images than with technology. I bought my first camera and I never thought about building websites again! Three cameras and dozens of photography tutorials later, I particularly like to capture life in the streets. I am constantly looking for that decisive moment. This probably explains why I am a huge fan of the late Henri-Cartier Bresson’s work! My preference is clearly for black and white images. I heard the words “I want to hang your pictures on my wall” so often that it was time to make my hobby my profession. And so it happened that on a sunny day in February 2018 I just walked into the office of the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam.
